The Ponds has many unique features, such as public art, rain gardens and ponds.

The two water bodies, situated along Stanhope Parkway and Paddle Street, are now in full operation.  They are dual purpose water quality treatment bodies that are aesthetically pleasing and are constructed in concrete and masonry with rockk finishes and adjacent landscape works, including macrophytes within the water bodies.  They are tiered structures which follow potography and store water.  The next two water bodies will be constructed adjoining the Eastern Playing Fields off The Ponds Boulevard and will be completed by early next year.

The walk/cycleways is finished from the Monarch release area (south of Stanhope Parkway) to Riverbank Drive.
